In 2010, Mexico celebrated both the 200th anniversary of its Independence and the 100th anniversary of its Revolution. Here, the Mexican Cultural Institute of New York created the “Tasting Mexico Campaign.” We developed the “Tasting Mexico Passports” to be used at the best-known Mexican restaurants, New Yorkers that got the most stamps on their passport had the chance to win a trip to Mexico.
